Hall Effect and Inductive sensors (contactless potentiometers) are precise components being used more and more to replace the traditional ‘sliding wiper’ wire-wound or conductive plastic potentiometer. Software, instead of hardware, combined with state of the art semiconductors provide for low noise, high accuracy measurement of any angle up to 360º.
