Multi-Turn Hybrid Potentiometers

Multi-Turn Hybrid Potentiometers

Hybrid technology for low noise, long lifespan and infinite resolution

Multi-turn precision hybrid potentiometers combine the inherent accuracy of wire-wound elements with the long life and high resolution of conductive plastic elements.

Our multi-turn potentiometers are available in 3 turn, 5 turn and 10 turn variations. Multi-turn potentiometers, due to their increased angle of rotation, results in a greater resolution and setting accuracy. Options for customization include center taps, limit switches, slip clutches, multi-gangs, shaft modifications and environmental sealing.

Our multi-turn potentiometers portfolio includes both bushing mount (sleeve bearing) and servo mount (ball bearing) in 20mm and 22mm (7/8") housing diameters.

Multi-Turn and Hybrid Technology

Precision multi-turn potentiometers are used in control applications to measure rotations exceeding 360º and as a high resolution panel input controller for precision settings. Widely used in manufacturing equipment, factory automation, mobile machinery, test and measuring devices, medical equipment and aerospace applications.

The hybrid resistor element refers to the conductive plastic layer finish over the wire-wound resistor. This smooth surface gives hybrid potentiometers a significantly longer life. The hybrid technology also ensures high resolution and a clean signal. Consider our multi-turn hybrid potentiometers for all of these benefits.
