The most cost-effective method for measuring mechanical linear motion is the proven linear potentiometer. Measuring lengths of 8mm up to 1500mm. Wide variety of mounting styles and mechanical interfaces; push rod shafts with or without spring loading, rod end bearings, sliding cursor (shaftless), threaded shaft ends, probe tips, through shaft (rear shaft). High resolution (essentially infinite) and high measuring dynamics (shock, vibration, speed, etc.) to meet the requirements for industrial use. Absolute position sensing, signals and measured values are retained (true power on) even if the supply voltage is interrupted.
