The open frame potentiometric displacement sensors are ideally suited for applications where installation space is limited. In addition, the sliding cursor can be coupled mechanically in a flexible manner.  With its open design, the displacement encoder is designed to be installed in customers housing. The sensors are linear displacement transducers based on conductive plastic technology. The potentiometric measuring principle makes the displacement sensors insensitive to X-rays and EMC influences.
