Mechanical coupling is provided for by dual rod end bearings (Heim bearings) which compensate for non-axial thrust and make installation simple.

Linear distance measuring is accomplished with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistive element. The displacement encoder has a very long lifetime and high accuracy due to its excellent linearity and repeatability. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences.
